Puppy Preschool

Proper socialization is the number one priority for new puppy parents, and is the single most important thing to provide your new puppy. This class is for puppies under 16 weeks old to really benefit from their socialization period. We want to create a foundation of confidence and be proactive about preventing future behaviour problems.

This class covers:
-Solving common puppy problems such as biting, house soiling, jumping, chewing, food bowl safety, stealing objects etc
-Desensitizing your puppy to handling at the groomers and veterinary office
-Canine body language and how to read your puppy's signals
-Positive exposure to novel sights, sounds and environments
-Controlled puppy play sessions

Puppies must have proof of At least one Distemper-Adenovirus 2-Parvo (DAP) vaccine or equivalent administered by a veterinarian a minimum of 10 days prior to starting class

Puppy Kindergarten

This class is for puppies from 16 weeks to 6 months. While still making positive associations with new environments and stimuli, we also want to start teaching our puppies foundation behaviours acceptable in our human world, such as leave it, loose leash walking, come when called, polite greetings, lie down, sit and stay.

Only the Essentials

People want dogs who joyfully run to them when they call. They want to go on walks without having their arm torn off. They want to bustle around the kitchen while their dog calmly waits on their mat. This course teaches your dog to want those things too!

This class focuses on teaching your dog to come when called, walk politely on leash and lie calmly on a mat when you need a break. It also includes problem solving for real life situations such as being able to manage your dog while company is over and teaching your dog to respond to you even with distractions.

This is a 6 week course which includes:
-Your own clicker
-Informative handouts
-A small online portion to the class, which gives students access to fun videos and homework to help truly understand the course material.
